July 23, 2005We want EZAfter having a discussion the other day with two of my coworkers, I realized that it's time for me to get on with the EZ-Pass already. This would have been quite useful for when the GP's window wasn't going up or down and I was traveling to and from the CT. But with the upcoming Maine trip, I don't have to worry about which lane to be in anymore. I think we're definitely going to go up on that Saturday and spend a night in MA so I can hit up Salem. At night. We hit up the Farmer's Market in Troy this morning, talked with someone from a dairy farm about slow pasteurization and was impressed that I knew something about it. Thanks Alton Brown. He gave K and I second samples of the chocolate milk, even though he knew we were going to buy some. We also got 3 large zucchini and 3 large yellow squash for $4 which would have easily been about $12.50 in the grocery store. And to round off the trip, a bottle of eldeberry wine. K was able to look down several hippie girls' shirts which he informs me of their commando going ways and perky nipples. I love hippies.
July 17, 2005Literary marathon43 hours later, I have finished Half Blood Prince. I don't think I can wear my t-shirt to another Harry Potter event.
July 12, 2005The hotel has been booked for our vacation. This will be the first time the both of us go on vacation together - it's like I'm all grown up or something. In other news, I get to do geocaching for one of the days during the camp week and take pictures of the kiddies. Then if the press is there, hand them a kid. I can't seem to get up in the morning, constantly oversleeping. I'm feeling quite zombie-ish. It's too fcking hot. It looks like Upper 80s/90s for the rest of the week. I need to move to Seattle.
