June 21, 2005Fury-ousFirst it was the hostas and the liliac bush, then it was continuous use of my gardening tools, now it's the complete disregard for said tools. I returned home from dropping K off at work, pulled into the garage and noticed my lopers were blade down on their side of the garage. My brand new lopers. I get out of the car to see what else is out of place, and I see the bright orange handle to my weeding rake - you know the kind that has sharp pointy teeth like the rabbit in Holy Grail - followed the handle down to the rake and realized that it was nestled up to my tire like Leeloo and Poopoos on a bed. There was contact I tell you. I hopped back in the car and backed it up and hopefully I'll retain air pressure. If not, there is going to be some screaming and yelling to be heard for a five mile radius of the apartment. I hate neighbors. I hate neighbors with four kids in a three bedroom apartment. I hate neighbors that use your tools without asking permission. I hate neighbors that leave them lying willy-nilly so you can puncture your tire. I hate neighbors that refuse to learn to park correctly. I hate neighbors that drop a bike down in the garage where ever it pleases. I hate neighbors that don't properly vent the basement while drying clothes so the entire house smells like fabric softener. I hate neighbors that completely take over the yard leaving you a 2foot x 10foot spot next to the garage. My patience, what little I have, is now gone. I'm a flexible person, I am happy that they took the impetus of sprucing up the asthetics, but when it is detrimental to the things that I care about - oh hells no. Perhaps I should just put all the tools in my trunk and carry them around with me at all times. Thank you neighbors for inciting the fury of bitterdiva on this beautiful summer solstice. 08:38 AM
CommentsI'm telling you, Pure Capsaicin on their door handle. >:) Hope the aftermath of all that went well. Did you say anything to them or the landlord? Posted by: Martini Mambo Post a comment
