Bolting the beast

Finally, after several frustrating months, Frankenstein lives, again, at his full potential. Previous on Recounting Frankenstein's Surgery, it was mentioned that the Athlon xp 2400+ chip was only being detected by the mobo as a 1800+. Manipulating the cpu frequency in the bios was to no avail and Dr. X thought she was going to have to live out Frankenstein's Life as an under achiever. Yesterday, the discovery was made that although Shuttle's AK39/N mobo is theoretically supposed to detect the frequency, there's a jumper that puts a cap on frequency. Thus, Frankenstein's brain was working as hard as the hamster could run in his cute little wheel.

The Post issue with the RAM hanging up was discovered by Dr. X's plaything, K. Fearing that the circuits in the laboratory were severely drained and the juice to bring Frankenstein to life was insufficient, K brought Franky into the adjoining laboratory and tested the power. Frankenstein lives. It was an incompatibility between two different readers, the one attached to the printer and the 6-in-1 external one.

Currently, Frankenstein is happily processing data at the designated rate and should be all set for the Sims Making Magic come summer. I have decided that I can now finally, with an easy mind, bolt the beast shut.
