February 06, 2003Ashcroft = Minion of SatanNormally, I don't post blog-esque links to something, but this morning during my hunt for news regarding the Governor's Proposal for work, I ran across a NY Times article. In it Ashcroft is urging, wait make that ordered, attorneys in New York and Connecticut to seek the death penalty for certain defendents. I don't care about people, whether they live or die, but this just reinforces the opinion that Aschroft is an evil minion. He's not like The Big Bad but he's certainly no Angel. 08:25 AM

One is that John Ashcroft insists on the over-use of the death penalty even though it is statistically unfair to minorities. The other disturbing issue is that John Ashcroft feels his ability to make these decisions is better than local prosecutors who better understand the case.
